Data Missing in Multiple connection setup

I have a multiple broker license, and the connections are set up in the following sequence - zenfire, gain, and IB. However, this setup is not able to retrieve any data(historical or real-time) from IB for instrument HSI (it is HONG Kong stock index future). IB is the only data provider that supports HSI in these 3 data feed.

Please advise how to fix the issue. Thanks!

Hi marketstudent, have you tried connecting to IB first? Is the HSI showing up correctly in your TWS page?

Yes, it shows up in TWS page, and it shows up if IB is the 1st connection choice. But I have to set up the IB as the 3rd connection choice because I trade other instruments as well, and IB's data fill is slow.

Hi marketstudent, unfortunately you cannot selectively receive data from different feeds. Your first feed will be the primary connection for data, unless it fails and NinjaTrader switches to try to get the needed data from your second connection. You could connect to ZenFire for the backfill and then connect to IB for the HSI data and execution.

That's what exactly my setup is - use zenfire as the primary connection for ES data, and since zenfire does not support HSI, I use IB as the secondary connect for HSI, but no HSI data is shown up in this configuration.

Unfortunately this is expected, as you cannot selectively take one future type symbol from one connection while getting the remaining realtime data from another. You would need to connect to IB first to get all your futures data including the HSI from them. If you need the quicker Zenfire backfill, you can always connect to it to backfill your charts, then switch to the IB one to get the realtime futures data including the HSI.
