FIX compatibility

Hi,

My broker (FXDD) provides me with a FIX API connection for stream and trading.

I'd like to use this connection to trade from within NT, as I understand that I can connect via the Trading Technologies account type, which is a FIX adapter built into NT...?

The fields given by my broker for FIX connection match those requested by the TT setup screen, but when I go to connect it tells me that the connection failed.

1. Is this possible to do?

2. If so, how do I go about it?

What is the error message you receive when you try to log in?
