OK. But I would like to say that I feel the Strategy Wizard should be able to pick up an account balance, and allow computation of lot/trade size based on it. After all, it can pick up the unrealised and realised profit.

The wizard is fine as far as it goes, but is too limited when it comes to basic money management - even very basic money management! I'd go as far as to say that the oversight probably puts some people off using NinjaTrader.

The Strategy Wizard does have some limitations and is intended for creating simple strategies.

However, if you are not able to accomplish what you would like with the Strategy Wizard, you may always unlock the script and add any code you would like.

Many thanks for yours. Whilst your comments are undoubtedly true, they are of no benefit to a non-programmer (which most traders probably are), who is only looking for a small degree of control of money management. As I say, Strategy Wizard already collects data on realised and unrealised profit, so picking up account balance should be a breeze.
