Multi-Instrument Historical Data

Hi,

I've made a multi-instrument strategy that adds several 1 minute charts to my strategy. The strategy is downloading data to a file for each day. I increased the settings for periodtype minute to have 365 days of data. Somehow the added instruments in the strategy seems to give only from today back to 30-03-2009. No messages in the log. The chart in the strategy analyzer is showing the correct period. I downloaded all the data for 365 days and while running the strategy I'm not connected to any datavendor (as that would give me timeouts).

What can I do to get the desired information from NT?

Hi clint2008, please make sure you have the needed data back for all the instruments you call in your strategy - NinjaTrader will start the strategy calculations when data for all the referenced symbols is present.

How many instruments have you added? Have you verified the data being present for all called instruments by exporting it (Tools > Historical Data > Export). To debug this, I would suggest starting with only 1 or 2 instruments then adding as you go along...

Of the 20 instruments added there were 3 not fully downloaded preventing the export. That is solved now, thanks
