IB Connection Options

Hello,

I have two fills but it seems to be working fine with different options. Could you tell me whether they make no differences or any one of them should be better than the other.

1. Backup datafeed connection: I chose "NONE" before and it's been working fine whenever I add an ad hoc second datafeed when I wanted to. Should I choose "Mirus" instead if it is my another broker with datafeed for some instruments I trade with?

2. Host (optional): I filled with "Localhost" before and it's been working even I am in fact working on one of the PCs behind a router. Should I add the IP address instead for a better connectivity?

Hello pipal,

1. You can choose Zen-Fire (Mirus) as backup connection regarding your first connection. NinjaTrader will convert to the back up data feed if the primary feed is fully disconnected. This will only work if the back up data feed connection is live.

2. Please keep localhost listed.
