    Grrrr NT!

    Since there is no function to save a picture of the alerts window, I selected send email to myself. The Sending mail box says the request cannot be aborted. It doesn't go away. I received my email ok and still the box persists. Since it does not go away and cannot be aborted my NT has effectively frozen me out. Charts update but I can't access a single thing, including the ability to shut it down! This ticks me off!

    FRIG! Just ended the "Please wait" task and of course NT itself closes too! Buggy! Now the non-historical indicators will have to start all over! Grrr.

      Thank you for your post.

      Are you able to recreate this issue?

      FYI- Try using the 'Snipping Tool' to take a screen shot of your alerts window. If using Vista it is in the accessories folder.

        Sorry but I dont want to recreate this or even try. It just stinks that using a built in function crashes the program.

          eDanny,

          I do a <Shift><PrintScreen>. Then drop it into "Paint". Box select what I want, Put it in a new paint image. save as a JPEG. Upload from/to NT.

            I know many ways to capture a shot but I was using the built in method, which we all should be able to use.

              Exactly the same thing happened to me yesterday. I tried to shut just the ever present dialogue box with task manager, but it shut down NT entirely.

                I just tested and the email function worked without issue for the Alerts window.

                1.) Make sure you are on the latest version of NinjaTrader 6.5.1000.9. You can check under Help --> About.
                If not, please download from this link: http://www.ninjatrader.com/webnew/do...g_software.htm

                2.) If this issue happens again, please send in a note to Support AT NinjaTrader DOT com and include your trace file.
                It is located at \Documents\NinjaTrader6.5\trace\(date)
