Add Connection - Interative Brokers

Here's an odd one. How do I add a connection to Interactive Brokers if the option is not presented in the Account Connections window (as in the attached picture)?

Hi Shannon, this is expected since your license is set for ZenFire. To use ZenFire and IB live accounts simultaneously you would need a multibroker license key from us. If you're interested in upgrading, please send a note to sales at ninjatrader dot com - thanks!

Thanks for the quick reply.

I've removed the account connections for Yahoo and Zen-Fire (Mirus). The problem still persists. The only connections that remain are External Data Feed, Market Replay Connection, and Simulated Data Feed.

Any further suggestions in adding an IB connection would be appreciated.

I do not use and do not intend to use the Interactive Brokers TWS application. I intend to access and execute trades via the IB account solely with NinjaTrader.

As my IB account is newly created, do I have to download and install the TWS application and implement the required changes to set the IB account in NinjaTrader? Then I could potentially remove the TWS application having amended the required settings.

Shannon, if you do not see IB listed as provider for possible connections under Tools > Account Connections this means you would need to use a different key as your license appears to be set for ZenFire - for this it would be best you contact me at support at ninjatrader dot com Attn Bertrand and reference this thread, thanks!

I got a similar question about using NT chart for my IB data. Does that require a live license on NT or a free demo NT would do?
