    Layout and misc question

Misc first: Any way to turn off/remove the arrow [upper right] of charts that indicates user has moved chart data off chart panel?

Layout: Is there a way to group all open Ninja items [example: chart, dom, time and sales] as one unit?

I know there is an "always on top" option on each tool but what I like to do sometimes is click "Show Desktop" to use another application. When I want to go back to Ninja, I need to click each individual tool at the bottom. Is there a way to make them reappear as a group? With other trading apps, all I have to do is click the 'tab' at the bottom windows bar and the entire app comes forward with all tools. I have to be missing something as this seems pretty basic.

    Thank you.

    Hi VinnyB,

    Thank you for your post.

1.) There is no way to remove this button.

2.) Yes, you can link windows together by clicking the L button at the top of the window and setting it to a color. For more information about window linking, please see the following link to our Help Guide: http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/H...verview35.html

Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

      Hi Kyle,

Not a linking problem. It's a program tool problem.

I consider each chart, t&s window etc. a "tool".

For example, right now I'm typing this email to you and my browser is maximized and NT and other programs are behind it. When I click any of those other programs at the bottom of my windows screen [the tab], that program comes to the front...in it's entirety. I have two other charting programs open with multiple windows but when I click on their respective tab at the bottom, the entire program and all components pop up. When I look down at the NT tab, I see "6" meaning that there are six tools open. I now have to go and click each one at a time to bring them to the top. NT seems to work like having multiple web browsers open. User has to choose which one to open.

If you compare to Realtick, Quotetracker, Tradestation, Open Ecry, etc. NT is the only one that functions like this.

Try it. Open several charts and a T&S window, then open a web browser or even Microsoft Word. Then alt-tab to bring any other program on top of NT. NT should now be behind the other program.

How will you bring all those NT windows to the front? One at a time?

Can't be. This has to be a layout problem and I'm not doing something right. Hope I'm explaining this correctly.

      Thanks,
      V.

        Hello VinnyB,

Unfortunately it is not possible to bring up NinjaTrader as a whole at once through the software itself, as you mentioned. However, Windows will allow you to open all windows at once, if they are stacked in the Windows task bar.
