Also, I have two real time feed (IQFeed and IB Feed), some symbols are applicable to IB, some to IQ, if I connect to the 2 feed at the same time, are they able to get the correct data from the respective provider?

Index data from IQFeed?
I am using IQFeed for my data. When I try to load the NYSE TICK index in the charts, I get an "Invalid instrument name." error. I use TICK.Z as the instrument name. How do I get this to work?

Hello tjendra,
Thank you for your post.
1.) You will want to use the TICK instrument. Please refer to the attached screenshots for the correct settings.
2.) NinjaTrader will request data from the first provider you connect to. If this data is not available from that provider, NinjaTrader will request the data from the second provider.
For more information about using multiple connections, please see the following link to our Help Guide: http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/H...nections1.htmlKyleNinjaTrader Customer Service

Do I need to do this step for every index that I want to use from IQFeed?
For the second problem, the ^TICK symbol is not available on IQFeed but I got IB Feed connected so it should request the data from IB right? But the "Loading Data..." window just hang there and says "This request can not be aborted." Why is that so?

1) After following your screenshots, I still can't get IQFeed TICK index to work.Originally posted by NinjaTrader_Kyle View PostHello tjendra,

2) If I disconnect IQFeed and connect only IB Feed, I am able to get the data to load correctly.

I was checking with IQFeed support as well, and they suggest I add "Default" in the exchange. I tried that, and the TICK data seems to be working fine now. Thanks for your help as well.

But I am still having trouble loading the ADD index. I am connected to IQFeed first and then IB Feed. IQFeed does not have this index but IB Feed has it. But an error message saying "Error on loading chart data for '^ADD Nyse': !ERROR! Unknown Error." pops up when I try to load the ADD index. Shouldn't it get the data automatically from IB Feed?Originally posted by NinjaTrader_Kyle View PostHi tjendra,

That's great news!
