use mid point for charting

i use amibroker for charting and nt for executions. since amibroker uses midpoint for IB forex, i have optimised my technique using midpoint. however the NT chart does not seem to use mid point. how can i confiure it to do the same

Hello junkone,

Unfortunately forex data does not support a midpoint in our software; only the bid and ask price. NinjaTrader will execute forex buy orders at ask price and sell orders at bid price.

Mid point is "most representative" (because, after all, bid/ask spread can change dramatically especially in forex. so neither bid nor ask is "perfect") however I believe that the best option for you is to offer all 3 choices (bid, ask or mid).

I will forward your suggestion to inlcude a midpoint to our development team and ask them if they can add this to the list of future considerations for the software.
