establishing superdom control of a position

I have an estblished futures position with IB. Iwant to turn it over to ninja trader to manage.I have the strategy script estblished. Just need to marry the two?

I think its more basic.

I established a futures position directly on the IB platform.

Now I want to manage that open positionthrough NT with an NT strategy.

Thank you for replying.

You must submit the order to open your position by placing the order directly within NT after setting up your account connection to IB.

Then, you can then control the position and attach an ASM strategy directly within NT.

I thought I remebered a way to start-up a strategy on an already opened position in previous version of NT?



Seperately, if you were to log offNT (or have a system problem) with a strategy still working how do you re-engage the strategy manager?

This is not possible, the position must be submitted in NT for it to be managed by NT.

If you have working orders in the market and experience computer problems or a crash, the resting location of your order depends on the exhcange. More information on the state of resting orders can be found here:
