SMA chart line does not extend to the end of the available data

When I use the Chart tool and display the Simple Moving Average (SMA) using Daily data, the SMA line does not extend to the last data point.

IOW, if the last date with OHLC data is 4/24/09, the SMA line will only extend to 4/23/09.

Shouldn't the SMA line extend to the last data point?

In the indicator panel, set "Calculate on Bar Close" to false.

This will provide a value for the current bar.
