failed to retrieve data messages

While backtesting a large basket of instruments, I get the following messages on several instruments.

Error on loading chart data for 'aaa' default : failed to retrieve data from yahoo." error message.

In all cases the instrument's first price data is not available at the back-test start date. So, the messages are correct.

Is there a way, however, to suppress/redirect these messages so I don't have to press OK on each dialog box?

Unfortunately not. You could try removing them from your basket test or maybe try disconnecting from Yahoo when you know you have all the data for all of the instruments you want to test loaded already.
