NT not saving the lookback period on my charts properly?

Hey there...

When I go into my chart settings and format the data series for an instrument, I would like Ninja Trader to be able to remember what my settings are. For example, when I load a 1 minute chart and set the lookback period to 150 bars, that works OK while the program is open, but even if I save the workspace and the chart template, when I shut down NT and restart it, the chart lookback is set to 2 days again. I am trying to speed up NT by reducing the number of bars that it displays, so I'd like to know how to get it to just stay at whatever setting I have decided on. Can someone help?

If you change the format data series days back then go directly File>workspace>save as, and save the workspace, it should save it for you. Be sure which workspace you saving first by noting the name of the workspace at the top of the Control Center. This link may help:

This is not a bug , this is a feature.
For example on an 1440 min chart the lookback period just erode 5-10-20 days sometimes with no reason.

Unfortunately it is not possible to save the 'Bars back' value. However, it will save the 'Days back' setting, if you save your workspace as described in post #2.
