strange start up

Hi
My NT start up is very very slow and it appears to 'loading' instruments that I do not use/did not request? Why for instance do I always get a pop up telling me I cannot abort a loading process for ES 06-09 when I have not used this instrument for several days. A specific example is that I generally trade the NQ and and when I turn off NT I 'save all' so that I get the same charts up when I trun back on...but it tells me on booting up that it is loading ES...how can I get around this?

Hello,

Please go to File>Workspaces>close and close all available workspaces. You probably have a chart or Market Analyzer open in the back ground. To avoid this, please close your workspaces prior to moving on to the next one.

thks NT Ben..what is the exact process then to close down a trading session so that when I log back in I get the workspace I used last time loaded up automtically...or do I need to close workspce on exit and open workspce on entry

Hello,

If you go to File>workspaces>Save and save the default workspace, NT will open with that workspace by default every time. Note your current workspace is always indicated at the very top of the Control Center.
