Orders outside visible range in the DOM.

    Hi Support,

When my profit target or stop loss orders are outside the visible range on the price ladder in the DOM, I tried to click on the middle mouse button on the price column to bring them into visibler range but nothing happened.
I have a laptop so there is no middle button but I clicked on the left and right mouse buttons at the same time in the middle as recommended but no effect.

Is there any other way to get this done?

    Hello sorcem,

    Thank you for your post.

If you right click and disable Auto Center, you will be able to scroll to these orders without being snapped back to the current market price.

Alternatively, you can configure the superDOM to display more price rows by right clicking in the superDOM and selecting properties. In the properties menu, increase the Number of Price Rows property from it's default setting of 23.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

      Hi Kyle,

      Thank you for your response.

I went to Properties on the DOM and unchecked Auto Center but the orders outside the range still do NOT become visible when I middle click on the Price column in the DOM. Actually nothing happens.

Changing the number of vertical rows in the price column works but unfortunately it makes the entire bottom portion of the DOM invisible since the entire DOM fillls my screen vertically with price rows and all other items including Pnl values etc. disappear below the screen.

Can you help with the original middle click idea for a laptop?

      Thanks
      sourcem

        Hi sourcem,

        Thank you for your reply.

1.) Are you able to scroll to those orders?

2.) Please open the Windows Control Panel and double click on the mouse icon. Within this menu, it is likely that you will find a setting which will tell your PC to treat clicking both buttons as a middle mouse click. Please let me know if you do not find this setting.

          Kyle,

          1) ON my Static SuperDOM, there is no vertical scroll key to scroll to the invisible orders.

          2) I have Vista, and I just checked Control Panel, Mouse settings and there is no option to click both buttons as a middle mouse click. However 'the middle mouse = click both buttons' does work to place a stop limit order say on the buy side above the bid price. I still do not know how to place just a stop market order on the DOM. I need help on that too.

The middle mouse jsut does not work when trying to get the orders in the visible range.

          sourcem.

            Hi sourcem,

            Thank you for your reply.

1.) Does your touch pad have scrolling capabilities? There is no scroll bar on the DOM, but you can scroll using the mouse.

2.) Perfect! No need for further configuration.
To place a stop market order, please click CTRL + both mouse buttons.
