I've been using BarChart (sim trading only) for about a month trading Russell emini on charts (I don't use SuperDom).
I have two problems:
1. Initially the tick charts were missing as much as half a day of historical data (missing bars). Currently, although I haven't looked in detail, the historical tick charts seem to be complete.
However now I'm occasionally missing a bar or two from the minute charts during the trading day as well as historical data. For today's missing data I used "reload historical data" but it didn't supply the missing bar(s).
2. When I place an order using ATM with stop limit entry, half the time the order enters either ABOVE or BELOW my desired entry price by several ticks, amd sometimes a point or two. If I were trading live, this entry would be impossible - the market isn't even trading where the entry was placed! This has been happening intermittently every day since I loaded Ninja onto another computer, then got BarChart data feed.
I've been working both with BarChart and Ninja for a couple of weeks but neither has solved these problems yet.
If you use BarChart, have you had this problem?
