Limit data download?

hopeing this is a quick easy question for somone,
i work on short time frames and i only need to download 1 day data on a 1 min chart, ie. if i click on a instrument in market analyzer it opens on my 1 min chart (they are linked) but then it downloads 10 days data.

Tools>Options>data>Chart default look back period (days)

is set to 1,but it's still DL 10 days, im connected to IB,not that that should make any difference.

Hello bfirth,

Please try the following steps. Restart NinjaTrader and create a brand new chart that uses a look back period of only 1 day. Open up your Market Analyzer and windowlink both windows. Click any instrument in the Market Analyzer to switch instruments in the chart and it should remain displaying only 1 day of historical data.

thanks for the quick reply Jason, that sorted it.
I've used data limits before, on other charting software, which was a global setting for all charts, i assumed NT was too. Much more flexible this way tho
