Stop order placement

Is there a way to change the stop entry functionality to a left or right mouse click rather than a ctrl key and scroll wheel combo...stop entry is cumbersom and I would like to streamline it....

What you want is not possible with NinjaTrader, but there is a workaround.Weallow you to make some changes to the functionality of the mouse buttons.

If you right mouse click in the 'SuperDOM' --> 'Properties' --> 'Middle Mouse Button Is Stop Market'. You notice that it is set to false by default, but if you set it to true it will allow you to place Stop Market Orders with just a middle mouse click. When you set it to true this switches the butttons used in placing Stop Market Orders and Stop Limit Orders.

What if you don't have a scroll wheel or middle button. I only have left and right buttons. Am I expected to get a new mouse to use this functionality. Are there no other keys that could be used in combination with one of the mouse buttons, instead of having to rely on a middle button.

If you only have a two button mouse, you may be able to have one of the buttons act like a middle mouse click.

You can check from Start -> Control Panel -> Mouse and check in the properties to see if this is possible.

If that does not work, you may need to get a three button mouse.
