TWS Backfill data

Is there any way to get backfill data for futures contracts like FTSE or Bunds from TWS into Ninja charts?

Hi,

Yes, you would receive historical data from IB for those contracts. You need to select the 1 minute chart and then data should come in.

Not sure what you mean. Are you receiving historical data for tick charts with IB?

I get only the tick data available when connected to IB. Bunds opens 7am but at that time computer has logged off to IB and generally login to IB at 8am. Looking to see if that missing tick data is available as a backfill from somewhere?

IB does not support backfill tick data, only minute and daily backfill data. The latter only is supported by NT6, but not by NT5.
