Volume limited in forex to 2148 million... why ?

Hello,

Having a problem displaying Forex volumes, the value gets capped at 2148 million - I am using IB for data. Is there a workaround that anyone has done ?

Even on 2 minute bars the volume regularly exceeds this amount.

would it be possible to build/sum volume from a lower timeframe to build the current timeframe ?

Is there a way to pre-process the volume data to factor it's size before it gets into the "Volume" data series ?

Hmmm... thought that might be the answer.

Will this bug be sorted in the next release - pehaps allow a volume factor to be defined for an "Instrument" so the volume data is factored down before it gets processed.

When is 7.0 beta available - first quarter has come and nearly gone...

It will be fixed in NinjaTrader 7. Its beta version is expected to be released this quarter (2nd).
