    Ninja Auto Trade Wizard

    Hi,

I have a couple of questions regarding the NT Auto Trade Wizard.
    1. I am doing a sim strategy and the Time Series doesn't seem to be functioning. It is doing trades that are inside and outside my time frame to trade.
So, am I doing it correctly.
Time Series > Time value 7:00Am
Time Series < Time value 8:30Am
Because it initiate a trade after 8:30.
So, in sim mode, does the time series work or will it only work when it is live?
    2. If I do a trailing stop and also create another exit, example:
Open > close by 2 bars, will the trailing stop get canceled, if the other exit is executed or will it just be hanging out there?
    3. I was trying to do a multi contract and it wasn't working correctly.
Could you give me exact instructions on how to create:
3 Contracts in the NT auto wizard:
We want to take 3 positions in each direction.
I am using the letter "S" for the short entry which I get on each following bar. So I only want to go short on the first "S" with targets at:
    1st Target: 10 ticks
    2nd target: 20 ticks
    3rd target: open.
If I have a target and I have a trailing stop, can I just put in a generic Trailing stop of 34 ticks or do I have to be specific and attach it to each entry.
Also, will the trailing stop for the 1st contract, once it is filled at 10 ticks, will the trailing stop be canceled?

    Thank you,

    Rachel

    Hello Rachel,

    Thank you for your post.

1.) The time series will work with the Free license. It looks like you have set this up correctly, make sure you have the bars ago set to 0.
-Does it take trades after 8:30 AM every day?

2.) Yes, the trailing stop will be cancelled.

3.) You will have to create seperate entry sets for each contract and create seperate targets and stops with each corresponding entry name.
-Please let me know where you are getting stuck.

4.) You will have to attach your trailing stop to each entry signal name.

5.) Yes, the trailing stop will be cancelled when the associated target is filled.

      Hi,

I have set up the time series for this set up at different times and different contracts and it totally ignores the time frame I have it set for and will just take trades out side the time frame I want it too. The only way I can stop it from taking trades is to remove it from the chart.

Regarding multiple contracts, I tried setting it up and it wasn't working as I wanted it too. It just was doing the 10 tick target, then on the next bar it would do the 10 tick target again and again and again.
Can you show me how I should to set up 3 contracts for this:
The signal is a "S" and it shows up on my chart, with a continuous "S" on the following bars but I only want it to initiate a short on the 1st "S" with
      3 contracts to go short:
Please show me exactly how to set this up because I don't know how to do this:
      1C: 10 tick target
      1C: 20 tick target
      1C: open
all of them have a trailing stop of 34 ticks.

      Thank you,

      Rachel

            Hi Rachel,

If you go to Help --> Mail to Support in NinjaTrader, it will be set up for you.

It is support @ ninjatrader . com < without the spaces.

Unfortunately the administrator doesn't like the actual address posted in the thread.
