How to get an instrument up in DOM??

    Hi,

I know this is probably a simple issue but I can't figure out how to solve it using the on-line help...

I am running Ninja Trader in simulated trading mode and want to be able to bring up SPY (I added it as a stock in the instrument manager) to trade.

All I can get displayed are the "default" list of futures - I tried adding SPY to the default list and that didn't seem to help.

    Thanks for you help!

    John

    Hello,

Does your data feed support SPY? Please verify here:

Did you add it to your default list:

It may help to add it on-the-fly:
Please delete any instruments you have added by going to Tools>Instrument Manager>select the instrument you added on the master list on the right>Delete.
    Now:
    - Open a DOM
    - Type the symbol of the instrument into the instrument field
    - Press Enter on your keyboard. This adds the instrument to your master list in the Instrument Manager, it is call on-the-fly.
    - Now follow this link to add the instrument your Default list:
