    Auto Trail Stop Loss Didn't Trigger

    I've been trying to figure out how to do stop loss orders and how to use the autotrail feature. It worked as expected for all of my trades while using the sim account, but as soon as I tried my actual account the stop didn't trigger. The stop level was on the chart, but the closing price went past it for a few ticks and nothing happened. Is there a scenario where there could be some kind of delay beyond a few ticks?

    Thank you for your post.

    Your stop loss orders and the auto trail feature should work the same in live trading as it does in simulation. Were you able to re-produce?

    Also, which version of NT are you using?

      I've tried with a bunch more simiulations and it works great. I may have just done something wrong in the live mode. I'll have to keep trying and see if it ihappens again.

        I've attached the error message as a bmp. I setup a trailing stop that works well on the simulation account. But when I use a live account I get an "unable to modify order" error. How can I correct this?

          From withing NT, Help > Mail to Support. Please send us a message and in the subject include "For Ray". This will provide us some log files so can inspect what may be happening.

            I couldn't send the mail in using that button, I kept getting timeout errors. For some reason the error I was getting with the ASM stopped, so I'm not sure what I did to get it to come up in the first place. If it comes up again in the new version I'll try to send mail again.
