Initial Order

Is there anyway to set NT to just take the next signal from an automated strategy without having to sync by entering a manual order to replicate the strategy position? Often I do not want to be in the market in sync with the strategy when it is first turned on. However, I know the next order will be to reverse the initial percieved positon. Can it be set to just enter with a 1 lot in the direction of the next signal after initial start up?

Hi Whipstopper, welcome to the NinjaTrader support forums! This can be done by going to the Strategies tab (Tools > Options > Strategies > NinjaScript) and setting the 'on starting a realtime strategy' setting to 'Wait until flat before executing live'. Then there's no need for a manual sync up.
