Is there anyway to change how quickly time passes with the simulated data feed so you can effectively test strategies that are based on a longer time frame?

Unfortunately this is not possible when utalizing the simulated data feed.
With live data you have the option to use the Market Replay feature where you can adjust the playback speed. Market Replay is not available when using the simulated data feed.
