Can't display RangeAlt Chart

I can't seem to be able to display Range or RangeAlt charts. I tried to reload historical data and found the option for "Tick, Volume, Second, Range" to be greyed out and the checkbox to be unclickable. I am using IB for my datafeed. What seems to be the problem?

Hello tjendra,

Historical tick data is used to create tick, volume, seconds, range and rangealt charts.

Unfortunately IB does not support historical tick data as you can see at the link below.

I left the chart window open since just now and the range chart starts plotting. Is it because IB gives real time tick data and not historical ones?
