Lindsay... I saw someone mention in another thread here yesterday that micro lots are not yet supported in NT and that it would be another month or two before that would be remedied in an update to version 6.5 .

I guess we will have to wait for final confirmation of that from Ray, whenever he gets around to it.

These screenshots show the settings in the Instrument Manager to create the new M6E contract. If you do not recieve data with this setup, please contact your broker/data provider to see if they can enable you with this service.

Please use .0001 as the tick size instead of .001, and you can leave Currency field as US Dollar as previously mentioned.

Ok, I found him one. Any new information on when CME Micro Forex futures can be charted?

They can be charted now, if you mean historical data, please check with your broker or market data vendor.

Some progress...I can chart 'something' on M6E..starting on 20-4-2009. Volume is almost non existent..certainly not tradable..but at least its something. Any further advice? My broker (Zen)says it should work.

Look fwd very much to getting these instruments up and running.

Hello Lindsay,

I assume you now receive real-time data in your M6E chart, which is as expected. There is no historical data, since it is not supported with Zen-Fire.

You can save real-time incoming chart data by enabling 'Store real-time bar data' at Tools-->Options-->Data-tab.

well...no..the data I recieve is so thin that it is not remotely tradable...I understand that these instruments have tradable volume. Something is amiss and it seems no one knows what it is.

and yes Zenfire doesnt provide historical data...but other instruments they and you support that I use (NQ, ES) provide more than 2 days worth??

Hello Lindsay,

To confirm, you receive real-time data in your chart, right? The price markers updates to new prices and new bars are created.

Other instruments such as the ES and NQ have more than 2 days of historical data available.

Currently the instrument is not very volatile and does not seem very volatile compared to the ES for example.

I recieve some data..on a 5min chart on M6E 90% of the chart is dashes..as there is not enough dtaa to form bars..if I put it on a 200 tick chart there are 2 bars only...In contrast, I have no problems whatsoever with ES/NQ with data filling according to my data settings...for eg..10 days back.

Hi Lindsayf,

It sounds like you have it set up correctly. There is just not a lot of volume on these instruments yet, that is why your chart looks the way it does.
There is also no historical data provided for this instrument, so your chart will begin from the time you connect.

oh ok I thought these instruments had quite good volume ..?.. as I attended a cme webinar a few weeks back where they were traded live.
