request(200) issue

Hi,

I am getting 'Error in requesting historical data from IB. No security definition has been found for the request(200)'.

I have read some posts on this but the responses did not seem applicable to my instance.

I don't think that I have changed any setting since Friday when I was not getting this error.

Any insight?

Hello,

Thank you for your post.

This usually means that you have no mapping for the instrument you are requesting data for. Go to Tools --> Instrument Manager --> Search for this instrument --> Misc Tab and check the mapping next to "Interactive Brokers." Adjust if needed and remove and add back to your default list using the < and > buttons.
