re-installed NT6.5 and can't get my workspaces back

I did a fresh install of my OS and also of NT6.5. Before I did all that I backed up my workspaces. Then I copied and pasted the backed up workspaces into the doc/nt6/workspaces folder and then go t o NT6.5 and open it but I get an error message that each chart's instruments "are not in the database"...."intrsument INTC default" was not found in the database or something like that.

However, if I make a new chart and type in the instrument, it comes up! So I mean all the instruments come up fine and I am connected fine. Also the backed up workspaces chart won't even let me type anything. I type "INTC" but it does not bring up a pop-up box. Any help with this would be appreciated. I still have any older files backed up if I need those.
