Exit on Close does not work

Hello,

i am trading automated strategies using NT and want them to close before the markets close. Therefore I set ExitOnClose = true and 30 seconds. However, it did not work. My question is, whether NT uses any actual time or my system time? Or can you please describe how this function works in general?

It works against actual PC time and the defined session end time of your strategy. For example...

- You run a strategy in a chart
- Your chart session end time is 4 PM
- You have Exit on close enabled set for 30 seconds
- At 3:59:30 PM PC clock time it will trigger
