1. I had an auto trade system that I was able to back test and now, I can't back test it. I was trying to configure an ATM trailing stop etc. and that is when it went wrong. I tried rebuilding it and can get the set ups on the chart but nothing I can do, will back test it.
Can a strategy get corrupted?
2. Same strategy written for another chart, I am using to back test and that is working fine.
A. Is there a way I can say this, so I never loose it?
B. I was need some help figuring out how to create a variable for a trailing stop. That is what messed up the first back testing strategy.
3. I am doing a back test and the long entry isn't being entered in, till really late: 10 bars? I don't understand, why it is doing that, when I have the time set at 7:10 for this strategy to being, entry is at 9:58 but long entry started at 9:56. There are definately more than 20 bars before this set up. Shouldn't the entry begin rigth when we get the 1st set up?
Thought the entry was entry when the next bar gave the same entry?
4. I want to create an alert for the first symbol that shows up for this set up. I don't want an alert every time it appears, while we are in that trade.
Is there someway, to just get an alert at the beginning of the trade?
