Importing 30m historical data into an index

I have 30m data that I'm trying to import. I created an index in the instrument manager and I import my data without any errors or warnings in the log. Here is a sample of data:

20050104 100000;48;48;48;48;1
20050104 103000;48;48;48;48;1
20050104 110000;49;49;49;49;1

The data I'm importing is an indicator which goes from 0 to 100. So there is no OHLC or volume, just the value. I created an index, I'm not sure if that matters or not. Or if it should be an stock.

Anyway, when I try to display the chart there is nothing. The chart is empty. No warnings or anything. nothing in the trace.

Any idea what could be wrong? Can I import 30m data? Can I import data into an index?

I figured it out. I named the file without ^ which is necessary if one creates it as an index. So NT created a stock for me "on the fly" and imported my data into the symbol without the ^.

What's the advantage of creating an index over a stock?

No advantage, just keeps instruments organized. Try changing it to an index in the Instrument Manager, does that work?
