        Please try this:
        - terminate NT
        - start windows explorer
        - go to <my documents>/db folder
        - there should be at least 2 files in:
        * NinjaTrader.mdb
        * NinjaTrader.Old.mdb
        - please remove NinjaTrader.mdb
        - please rename NinjaTrader.Old.mdb to NinjaTrader.mdb
        - start NT
        - Tools->Options->Misc->Repair DB

            Then unfortunately your DB is corrupted and can not be repaired. The only way to resolve this is by manually deleting these files:
            - <my documents>/db/NinjaTrader.mdb
            - <my documents>/db/NinjaTrader.Old.mdb

            This will give you a fresh, blank DB.

            Note: You will loose all your historical chart data, your trade data and your ATM strategy templates.

              I noticed you just got involved in this. We already deinstalled and reinstalled the whole application from scratch using non of the old program... You ever here the quote "insanity is doing the same over and over again and expecting different results"?

                    - you started NT and got that error??

                      Not sure why the confusion on your support part,, every detail is documentated and I followed every process given to the "letter"..


                      I discovered this situation, when I went in to clear the Simulator, but went to the Misc tab and hit the RepairedDB instead. Thats when I discovered this error.

                      I did all the steps with the deleting/ renaming mbd,, several times working with Jason.. Jason finally gave me instructions to totally deinstall Ninja and reinstall,, which I followed to the letter. as you gave me the same instructions which I performed to the letter!

                      After the new/fresh/from scratch install of Ninja, I did nothing but bring up Ninja and try the RepairDB, still have the same issue.

                      So bottom line the failure occurs with the fresh install of Ninja also.

                          K,, this doesn't seem to effect anything in Ninja so I can leave it like this if you want to work on it (happens once gonna happen again to someone else) or I have a system checkpoint I could restore to before Ninja was ever on the PC and see if it fixes this?

                            Most likely a system restore will not make a difference.

                            Please see the email I have sent with instructions regarding MDAC and Jet Database engine.

                            Let me know if this will work for you.
