Continuous Contract

How can I back test on a continuous contract using either IB or Barchart?

Thank you for your post.

IB does not support continuous contract, however BarChart should.

When you are adding the instrument to your default list, select ##-## from the instruments front month list.

Yea... I tried that on ZB and ES. Each time it said "Barchart.com does not support continuous contracts."

Ok, then you will have to merge data for the contracts you want into the current front month.

Do you know which data provider supports continuous contracts? I'd rather sign up with them...
