database, historical datas overwrite question

Hello,

Now, from IB I have 1 minute downloaded datas till the middle of 2008. What is happening if I overwrite it with 1 tick import from 2001 till the end of 2008? What will I see by the end of 2008? And what will I see from the begining of 2009? Can/May I do this?

I thought I ask it before I get surprised and I have to load again it from backup
