Heikin-Ashi indicator question

I'm using the Heikin-Ashi indicator. When the price moves it doesn't draw the candle until it moves to the next candle. Is this normal?

Hello j4068,

Please right click in the chart and select 'Indicators..'. Highlight the HeikenAshi and set 'Calculate on bar close' to False.

The indicator will now be calculate on each incoming tick instead of the close of the bar.

Heiken Ashi disable draw objects

With the stock NT Heiken Ashi indicator the shadows are drawn as draw object lines.

Is there a way to disable grabbing and moving of all the shadow lines that the indicator draws so that I can see the shadow coloring, but then draw on top of the price and still be able to grab and move the lines that I draw?

Essentially make the shadow lines behave like price candles where they cannot be moved.

The Heiken Ashi shadow draw lines are so dense that the cursor will always grab one of them before it grabs any other draw object.

Unfortunately this is not supported with the Heiken Ashi default indicator.

You could set the Shadow width to one, if not already.

Heiken Ashi Candles

Is there a way to draw the heiken ashi candles that look like the "normal" candles instead of the "bright and weird" looking ones? Thanks.
