If the order has a 'working' status, the order resides at the broker or exchange. If NinjaTrader is closed, the order is still alive. More information can be found at the link below.

When I restart Ninja Trader the next day will it recognize the IB order and show it on the Chart?

If I enter an order on IB's TWS not NT, will that order show on a NT chart?

I am not exactly sure what happens with the order upon leaving it overnight. I suggest to verify this with your broker.

The order entered in TWS, will be displayed in NinjaTrader as well providing you are connected.

I just entered an order in TWS for YM 06-09 but it did not show in NT.

Do you have the IB account selected and YM 06-09 in the NinjaTrader window (SuperDOM, ChartTrader, etc), you submitted the order to in TWS?

What version of TWS do you have installed? You can check this under Help-->About TradersWorkStation.

Does the lower left corner of the NinjaTrader Control Center states 'Connected - *connection name*' in green?

Could you post a screenshot of the NinjaTrader window that has the IB account and same instrument selected as well as TWS that displays the working order.

Actually the order shows up on the Control Panel order screen, it does not show on the chart?

I seldom look at the order screen on the CP.

Can you please enable ChartTrader and select the IB account.

Check if the order is displayed in the chart.

No it does not display on the chart. It does show up in the Control Center Order area.
