Chart Data Updates

I record real time data. I have my laptop running from about 8 to about 3:30 each day. I started my laptop this morning and there is a break between about 3:30 Friday and data this morning.

Should it not recall all data for the period I was not logged on?

The reload historical data when you right click is not active.

I use Interactive Brokers for my data feed.

I suspect you use the free license key, which does not allow you to retrieve historical data from IB; historical minute and daily data is only supported using a live license key.

If you are using a live key, could it be the chart uses a tick interval (tick, range, seconds and volume)?

No. I had a monthly license which I just upgraded to a purchase license.

Double click the chart and check what setting is used for 'Exclude weekend'.

What instrument and interval is selected in the chart?

It is set to "FALSE".

Unfortunately historical tick data is not supported with IB as per the link below.
