Total Row in Market Analyzer

When I enabled the "Total" row in the Market Analyzer, I experienced a couple of problems:

1. When the market analyzer is linked to charts, clicking on the "Total" row should not cause a selection of an unknown "Total" instument as it now does.

2. I could not find any way to get the total row to appear at the bottom of the Market Analyser screen instead of at the top where it currently appears. So, I would like to request that where the "Total" row gets displayed can be made an option.

Please tell me these two (hopefully simple) requests can be handled in V7 of NinjaTrader.

Hello KBJ,

I have forwarded your findings to our development team. I am able to reproduce the Total row issue and I see no way to have the Total row to be displayed at the bottom.

This is a bug which will be fixed for NT7 (first beta in Q2 09). Thanks for reporting.

FYI... I just found a related problem which will probably go away when you make the Total row unselectable.

I made the mistake of doing a "Save Workspace" while the Total row was selected, and NinjaTrader wouldn't allow me to use that workspace again -- it kept saying there was an invalid Instrument of "Total Default".

Fixed by deleting the workspace and recreating it.

Correct, this problem likely will go away if you would not select the total row.

Horizontal Total Row

I don't know if this is possible, but is there any way to get a total of all of the horizontal fields in Market Analyzer?

No, unfortunately that type of total is not possible currently.
