Connecting Ninja Trader 6.5 via a proxy server

You can specify a proxy in the <proxy> element by: proxyaddress="ProxyAddress:ProxyPort"

for example your config file will look like:
<configuration>
<system.net>
<defaultProxy>
<proxy usesystemdefault="false" proxyaddress="http://11.22.33.44:8888" bypassonlocal="true" />
</defaultProxy>
</system.net>
</configuration>

The problem is specifying credentials (user/password) if needed, one can try tell .NET to use the default:
<configuration>
<system.net>
<defaultProxy useDefaultCredentials="true">
<proxy usesystemdefault="false" proxyaddress="http://11.22.33.44:8888" bypassonlocal="true" />
</defaultProxy>
</system.net>
</configuration>

***Answer***
Download Sockcap64 (free). Make sure that you go the THE .exe program file, right click, go to Properties and click the box that says "Run as administrator". You have to click this box for it to work. Or at least I did. Your welcome! Good luck!
