Sensible Day Light Saving Rules

Hi,

Can soneone from NT confirm that V7 will have a much needed improvement to the simplistic chart based instrument start times. For those not on US time tracking US based instruments this is a real pain as the US transistions in 2 steps on/off DST.

Most other packages deal with this well but with NT any charts set with Day session start/stop times truncate previous day/week data as session times are changed to reflect the new start time.

Maybe a .NET 2.0 issue

Think the daylight saving rules is one of the limitations of .NET 2.0 as not all methods for time conversion are available. Higher versions of .NET do allow for time conversion...

cannot get my time fixed on this platform for two days!! why is it has to be so complecated?

Charts want to start from 8:30 when my PC is 9:30 !!!!

someone got to fix this problem before?

SNIP07, which NinjaTrader version and broker / datafeed connection are you using?

Checked my ES charts on ZenFire in MST and they work as expected.

Also, please try synching the PC clock, then rebooting the PC fresh and then reopen your charts. You may need to reload historical data then by right clicking on the chart > Reload Historical Data.
