Drawn Objects delete themselves after chart close/reopen? Is it me?

    greetings,

am i overlooking the obvious or something?

I'll illustrate an example to the post title.

If i draw objects on a chart, then close the chart (i've saved and labeled this chart 'XYZ') the drawn objects seem to delete themselves so as to not be on the chart when it (XYZ) is reopened. This happens whether it's the same ticker or not. The objects should still be there right? It doesn't seem right to do all that work and have the objects delete themselves. It would be like doing work in photoshop, only to have all the edits delete themselves and the photo restored back to the original prior to all edits.

I hope i'm doing something wrong....this would be a major turn off for NT.

    thanks...i hope i'm missing something.

    Hello Robert,

    Thank you for your post.

This is expected as drawing objects are only saved if you save the chart as a part of a Workspace.

      RJStein,

Thanks....works perfectly. I was gonna give that a try before I posted, but it didn't seem like the solution would be that easy.

      thanks again.
