How many computers & NT licenses do I need?

Here's the scenario:

I currently have one Forex cash account with MBT. On NT, I have developed an automated strategy to trade EURUSD with this cash account.

I would like to be create two other Forex accounts (my IRA & my husband's IRA) with MBT and trade the same strategy on these new accounts.

So...three accounts (all Forex MBT), one NT strategy, one market (EURUSD). How many licenses & PCs do I need to accomplish this?

I talked to MBT and they can link the accounts together via creating a master account. Does NT allow trading under this master account?

I believe you can use 1 computer, 1 license as long as MBT has the 3 accounts linked together.

When you setup a strategy, you should have the option to choose which account is being used by the strategy. You would simply need to setup the same strategy, 3 times, 1 for each account.

How do I connect with MBT? Once using the master account that they create to link the account. Does NT support this? How do I connect a chart and the strategy running on a chart with a specific account? I would like the individual accounts to be able to trade different quantities.

I'm sure someone from NT will clarify if I'm correct, but I'm pretty sure if you setup a master account, you can do this.

I haven't actually done it, but I am sure I read it here on the forums.

Thank you for your post.

As long as you can access all of your accounts with the same MBT connection, you will only need 1 NT license. If you are unable to access all MBT accounts under the same connection, you will need to purchase a seperate NT license for each account you wish to trade and use a different computer for each.

Thank you mrlogik & RJStein for taking time to reply and share your knowledge. Question from the last post on account groups. Would I be able to use an account group on a strategy? I thought this was more of a SuperDOM feature.

No, you cannot use it on a NinjaScript strategy.
