Pullling data from different vendors

Hi All...

I'm trying to pull only TICK data from Barchart, and all my other price data from IB. The problem is, I can only get TICK data or price data, but not both at the same time.

What I've done is connected to barchart for the TICK, and removed the TICK symbol from the IB Instrutment Manager. Now I have TICK data, but no price data. So... I connect to IB to get myprice data, and nothing happnes.

Is this possible? What am I doing wrong?

Do you receive both live and historic data from your BarChart connection for the TICK?

I use both for either real time or historical data. But in this cause, what I'm looking to do, is use barchart for the real time TICK data, and use IB for real time price data...

Try adding Bar Chart as the backup data feed in your IB connection.

Then remove the symbol mapping for TICK next to IB. Connect to IB first and then try connecting to BarChart and see if this works.
