ma crossover question

I am wanting to tweak an SMA crossover to get rid of those occasions where for eg the fast crosses the slow but only for a few bars- triggers a long position then stops out when the fast crosses below the slow. I tried adding the condition parameter to " 15 bars ago" hoping to weed out the misfires. It doesn't seem to work. Is there a way to achieve this?

You are going to need to objectively define out what kind of conditions you want to filter out. Crossover strategies generally work well in trending markets, but once it goes into sideways motion it becomes extremely difficult.
