Indicator license question

I recently purchased an indicator/signal system for Ninja. When it first loaded, it asked for machine I.D. to send to vendor to assure proper licensing. It works fine.

What happens when I want to upgrade my computer? Do I have to send the 3rd party vendor a machine I.D. everytime I upgrade computers?
What happens if the 3rd party vendor is out of business in a few years?

Any way to tranfer machine I.D.'s to a new computer, and not have to worry about vendors going out of business and then having indicators stop working after the computer upgrade? Any suggestions?

Hello Budman,

The machine ID is derived from your CPU and motherboard. If this is changed your machine ID will change and you will need to inform the vendor accordingly.

Unfortunately I am not sure regarding the consequences when the vendor will be out of business. I suggest to contact the vendor regarding this.
