Futures Continuation Charts

For back testing or just viewing longer time series how do one make continuation Chatrs, covering several contracts of same contract?

You have two options:

1- Merge the data:

2- Or use a continous contract instrument. You data feed will need to support this though. Please check with them on availability.

For anyone using Amp Futures/ZenFire data . . . forget it!

I find it hard to believe, but not only do Amp customers have no access to Daily Charts, I just received an e-mail and we can't even create Continuous Charts for a meager 6-months (just 2 contracts joined?!).

The "merge" always locks-up since it's "incompatible with ZenFire data" according to their Support Dept.

For the daily chart, you can emulate this with a 1440 min chart.

please provide automatic rollover.........

this is a basic and important feature all great charting platforms already offer (tradestation-ensign-neoticker) .....automatic rollover schedule for
futures symbols based on internal calendar where the user can define the exact pattern and date for the rollover...backadjusted or not. This has nothing to do with the feed itself...could be IB's or Zenfire or else...but it seems Ninza developers are trying to force people to use feeds like esignal or iqfeed...
