Deleting an indicator

I was given an indicator that someone built. I don't want it anymore. I went to Tools > Edit Ninja Script > Indicator...selected it, and hit delete...and it told me I cannot delete a system indicator.

So I went to:
C:\Documents and Settings\USER\My Documents\NinjaTrader 6.5\bin\Custom\Indicator

and deleted it from there....is that enough? Do I need to delete from anywhere else? Why did it say that in the first place?

Click 'Delete' instead of 'Add'.

On the other side of that, I recently deleted an indicator and would like it back. What happens when we delete a NT file? Is there some kind of "trash" bin or something like that? Thanks!

If you're using Vista, you might be able to retrieve it. To do so...

1. Right click on NinjaTrader's Indicators folder
2. Select "Restore Previous Versions" from the menu
3. Select an older version of the Indicators folder
4. Click on "Open"
5. Find a copy of the deleted file and copy it back to the current Indicators folder
