IB Simulated Account?

Hello, I hooked up NT to the "simulated" demo account from Interactive Brokers over the weekend while they were doing server upgrades. It loaded the simulation account of $100K. Unfortunately, now that I am connected to the "live" servers again, it still shows the simulated account and not my real account in NT. How can I force it to refresh?

Hello tradinginzen,

Please ensure 'Global Simulation Mode' is unchecked under Control Center-->File.

You should now be able to select your live IB account in all order entry windows in NinjaTrader providing you are connected to your IB live connection (lower left corner of the Control Center states 'Connected - *connection name*' in green).

I do see that option checked, but I am unable to uncheck it. It is grayed out as well. Does it default to checked unless I purchase NT?

That's correct. You can only uncheck the feature if you have a Live license entered.
